“My home gets home” used to say José Saramago, when he welcomed in Lanzarote his library sent from Lisbon. By means of simple and immediate nesting operations, Layette house anticipates the condition of those living experiences that will base the essential yet intangible value of the idea of ‘home’, at the same time as the material elements that will shape the house are actually being built. The main intention is to explore, and at the same time enhance, new ways of understanding the architectural process underlying between both architect and client, and to remark the importance of knowing how to profit from these mutual expectations.
